PMP Preparation Course :

This program immerses attendees in the PMBOK 3rd Edition based methodology and techniques of project management. It approaches project management from the standpoint of managing a single, standalone project that is small to medium in size. The course takes attendees through the project life cycle in the same sequence they would face when managing a real project in the workplace.

Topics covered include the product and project life cycles, including initiation, planning, executing, controlling, and closing. Subject areas addressed include the project charter, creating a WBS, Network Diagramming, finalizing the project plan, scope management, stakeholder identification, cost management, scheduling and schedule management, earned value measurement, and change control.

This course also integrates key advanced PMBOK 3rd Edition topics including Earned Value Analysis, Quality, Contracting and Ethics. It takes attendees through the execution, controlling and closing processes and uses group exercises as a hands-on approach to reinforcing the key concepts.

The course integrates PMP Certification Prep sessions that introduce attendees to the form of the PMP test and gives practical advice on effective test taking, recommended study materials and methods. Practice tests are included and build to a final, complete PMP practice test that builds individual confidence and experience leading to successful attainment of the PMP designation.
