Description

Basic Internet Business Skills teaches new users to access the Internet and its vast resources. Students will learn to use the Internet for e-mail, newsgroups, Gopher, Veronica, File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and Telnet, and to access the World Wide Web. Students will gain experience using the most popular Internet browsers: Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0. Students will also preview the latest browser versions: Navigator 4.0 and Internet Explorer 4.0 .

This class is a perfect introduction for students who want to use the Internet, which includes locating information and communicating with people around the world.
