Description |
This course introduces students to key Domino administration concepts required in effective planning. Using checklists and best practice models, students will practice designing and planning a successful roll-out on paper. Upon completion of the course, students should be able to iniate an action plan for implementation at a live Domino site. |
Audience |
This course is designed for experienced administrators and consultants new to Notes and Domino, who are responsible for planning a Domino R5 roll-out. |
Prerequisites |
The prerequisites for this course include:
- Experience planning or deploying in client/server or internet environments
- A basic understanding of network technologies, protocols or concepts
- Database and messaging administration experience is recommended

Objectives |
By the end of this course, the student should be able to:
- Prepare a Domino/Notes rollout plan based on simulated classroom environment
- Begin to compile and action item list for use in creating a rollout plan at a live site, specific to the student's environment
