Description |
This classroom course of two days teaches basic and advanced network security, both in the SNA (Systems Network Architecture) and in the TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol) environments.This course does not include practice over lab cases. |
Audience |
This course is designed for persons who will be responsible for network security in a distributed and generally non-secure environment. This course gives also an idea of security problems to EDP managers in order to plan a security strategy at the right time. |

Before taking this course, a student should know:
OS/400 security
Communications (SNA, TCP/IP)
TCP/IP Applications (FTP, HTTP, etc,) |

Describe main security threats and exposures due to network interoperability
List all the tools and products available for managing security risks
Explain how to configure security tools and products on AS/400 |
