This course teaches an overview of the issues common to devices attaching to the IBM Token-Ring network. The course is network-oriented, focusing on the physical aspects of a network, token-passing protocol, and data link controls used by attaching devices. It is equally applicable to connecting IBM workstations, departmental systems, host processors, or a combination. |
