This course is designed to provide project managers, novice or experienced, with project management skills required for certification in the PM discipline. Structured to match a project's life cycle, this 4.5-day classroom course covers detailed topics of the basic concepts of project management, including initiating projects, planning projects, controlling projects, executing projects, and closing projects. Those who attend the class will improve their management skills and abilities to define the project scope, create a workable project plan, and manage within the budget and schedule.
The course consists of classroom instructor-lead lecture and discussion, which is reinforced with team and individual exercises, and case study assignments with student feeback that is critiqued by the instructor and the other student teams. |
